Integra-IT appointed IT provider of choice for CNCF charity 公共關係主任
30 May 2008, Hong Kong

In this official capacity, Integra-IT has volunteered the services and resources of its Technical Support Services (TSS) and Integrated Moves and Changes (IMAC) divisions, free of charge, to move the Hong Kong branch of the Foundation into a new office for eight members of staff in the city, including two full-time employees.

Four members of the Integra-IT team spent one week at the new CNCF premise in Hong Kong to install personal computers, servers, back up servers, a telephone system and complete the necessary cabling work at the new office on Lockhart Road in Wanchai.

This was made possible due to the efforts of Integra-IT's Founder and Managing Director Leon Carrington who used his extensive contacts within the investment banking industry for companies to donate used personal computers and servers to our preferred charitable organisation.

Melissa Wood, Chairman of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation (HK) said, "We're actually quite blown away by the amazing team who've made this move for us completely hassle free, something that, as a charity, we are not really used to!"

Integra-IT has pledged to continue harvesting used computers for the needy children the Foundation supports, to help them realise educational opportunities and later become productive members of society through vocational training and job placement programmes organised by CNCF.

"I believe that the vision for this Foundation is to continue to help children to find their childhood, regain their childhood, grow to adulthood and be productive members of society," says Christina Noble, Founder of the organisation, on the official CNCF web site at www.cncf.org.

The partnership between Integra-IT and CNCF has been strengthened by the recent appointment of Leon as a Director on the Board of the Hong Kong branch of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. The board meets up to twice a month to discuss ways to raise funds in this wealthy city for the charity's missions in Mongolia and Vietnam.

Leon says, "Integra-IT will be involved in sponsorship and fundraising events further down the line."

Leon's fundraising activities for CNCF date back to 1999 when he raised considerable funds for the Foundation by agreeing to have his hair shaved off, which he proudly says used to be down to his shoulders.

Needless to say, Leon sports a more conservative short-back-and-sides hair style these days.

Notes to Editors:

The Christina Noble Children's Foundation is an international partnership of people dedicated to helping children in need of emergency and long-term medical care, providing nutritional rehabilitation, educational opportunities, vocational training, job placement and protection of children at risk of economic and sexual exploitation.
