Application Support Engineer

Job Description

Our client, a Multi-national Corporation, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Provide customer-facing 2nd and 3rd level support on wide range of applications, including MS Office, IIS, Sharepoint, Citrix, SQL servers, Oracle, Documentum, Autonomy, SAP, App-V etc.

·         Respond timely to incidents tickets in the event logging systems.

·         Monitor system, identify, analyse and resolve problems.

·         Responsible for capacity management and planning.

·         Involve in implementation of application changes or upgrades.

·         Participate in an on-call shift duty.

 

 

Requirements:

 

·       Minimum 4 years hands-on support experience on at least 2 areas in below categories:

v  Microsoft Office

v  IIS

v  Sharepoint 2010/ 2013

v  Citrix

v  SQL servers

v  Oracle

v  Documentum

v  Autonomy

v  SAP

v  App-V

·       Strong in incident and change management.

·       Strong trouble-shooting skills.

·       Has desire to extend their skills on above areas.

·       Good communication skills in English.

·       Customer service oriented & a team player.
