Our company is seeking a Network Consultant to join our team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

 

·              Complete Infrastructure projects for clients in a thorough and timely manner and within Budget.

·              Work closely with our project teams to provide the full Infrastructure life cycle from design, through construction and handover to operations.

·              Provide pre-sales consultancy services and prepare technical proposal.

·              Network design and configuration of various network devices.

·              Install or oversee installation of client network from simple to complex multi-site clients both locally and internationally.

·              Diagnose and fix network related issues.

·              Work with other consultants and managers regarding account status, ongoing issues and opportunities.

·              Participate as needed in regularly scheduled client reviews.

·              Produce technical documentation and presentation of assessments.

·              Identify and escalate business and technical opportunities as appropriate.

·              Assists customer with deployment and strategy for related network management systems.

 

 

Requirements:

 

·              4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing network and security environment.

·              Strong technical knowledge in technology specialty area with Intermediate knowledge of complementing infrastructures. Specialty areas for Networks and Security; Routing, Switching, Security & Wireless LAN technologies. Networking & Delivery technologies: Load Balancers, WAN, Internet connectivity & related technologies (MPLS, IPSEC VPN, WAN Optimizers, Rate Limiters, QoS, etc.); Infrastructure Services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.), Network Monitoring & Management Platforms.

·              Experience with various Cisco and other network solutions involving routers, switches, Wireless and security.

·              Experience working with Virtualization (Data Center and/or VDI).

·              Proven ability to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into solutions including developing designs, device configurations, IP addressing and switch port schema, providing solutions and support to various cross-functional teams.

·              First-hand knowledge in designing network solutions to enable integration of VMware, Blade and Cloud environments.

·              Network Management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, packet sniffing).

·              Familiarity with Cabling, CAT5/6 Ethernet (Telephone cabling a plus).

·              Security experience is a plus.

·              Knowledge of telephone systems and VoIP a plus.

·              CCNP / CCIE certification or equivalent is a plus.

·              Technical Project Management experience.
