Our client, a Global Telecommunication Corporation, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide 24x7 support for Data Centre facilities, like electrical power systems and security alarms.
• Provision of new service order, like rack, cabling & power supply.
• Resolve and escalate problems following policies and guidelines. Communicate with customers to update the resolution status.
• Install network CPE and perform break-fix at client sites.
• Perform laying, terminating and testing of Cat5/6, co-axial and Fibre Optic cable.
• Work on rotational shift duties.

 

Requirements:

 

• 2+ years of facilities support experience in Data Center.
• Familiar with Data Center standards and policies.
• Experience with maintenance on DC critical systems e.g. UPS, ELV, HVAC system and fire detection.
• IVE of Higher Diploma of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in English.
• Flexible and team player.
